First, let me thank you again for coming by at such short notice before Hurricane Irene to check on the sump pump. After having it installed almost four years ago and never seeing it work, I was a little unsure about its operation. Was I glad to have that sump pump during and immediately after the storm - it was incredible to watch the pump work as it took the incoming water in, up and out - all I had to do was sweep into it - I never lifted one bucket! I’ve now shown the pump to several of my friends, family members and neighbors and give Wickersheim & Sons all the credit for it and the marine battery back-up (just this afternoon again to my backyard neighbor on Prospect).
Second, when you were here, we talked about generators and you mentioned the one you installed for your grandmother. Could you email me the type, make, model, power, etc. so that I’m speaking from some point of reference when I call the electrician? The only you talked about needed required no work on the part of your grandmother - kicked on automatically, etc. If I remember correctly, it was large enough to keep the furnace running, the living room lights and the refrigerator. I would need mine to keep the electric baseboard heat on in my mother’s room (the addition), the refrigerator, the freezer and the living room and the sump pump (not sure about the entire house furnace).
Lastly, I know we talked about Figilia and Messner (?) but don’t remember the third name. If you could provide, I would appreciate it. Also, do they contact you to handle the gas line or is that something I do separately. I’m sure everyone is crazy busy but I thought I’d get the ball rolling in case I need permits from the town, etc.
